Amo riciclare e riutilizzare....che suona meglio di "sono una ammassatrice cumpulsiva".

Adoro questo calendario di legno che ho acquistato da Mama Elephant l'anno scorso.

Sapevo che avrei potuto/voluto riciclare le varie pagine.

I like to upcycle <-- that sounds better than what I am, a crafting hoarder.

I love this wood veneer calendar that I bought from Mama Elephant last year.  I knew that I could/would upcycle the various  'pages'.

Ecco come l'ho trasformato:

 

Here's how I transformed it:

 

cardbase:  impress  paper:  papertrey ink vellum, neenah white, stampin 'up basic black  stamps:  kellie stamps  ink:  memento tuxedo  other:  divine twine, gold eyelet, studio calico wood veneer heart, mama elephant 2014 calendar

 

Anche se il calendario è dello scorso anno, funziona lo stesso per una bel bicchiere grande di caffè! Ho tagliato facilmente il legno di balsa senza alcuna rottura o crepo.
Ho aggiunto il foglio di vellum per ammorbidire l'effetto della base.
Allora, anche voi accumulate roba con l'intenzione di riciclare in futuro?

Although the calendar is from last year, it makes for a great coffee to-go cup!  I easily cut the wood veneer without any breaking or cracking.

I added the vellum panel to soften the card base.

Ciao! Sono Amy con un idea regalo veloce!!

Esistono in giro un sacco di diverse fustelle a forma di scatola regalo, cut file da plotter oppure file PDF a disposizione. Oggi, sto usando le forme di Confetti Tagged Tote Confetti Cuts.
Ha tutto il necessario per fare una simpatica scatola regalo, in più ci sono fustelle aggiuntive per dolci dettagli.

There are a lot of different treat box dies, cut files and pdf's available.  Today, I'm using the Reverse Confetti Tagged Tote Confetti Cuts.   It has everything you need to make a cute treat box plus there are additional dies for sweet details.

La tazza di caffè e il sentiment sono su un pezzo di carta separato così da poterci lavorare più facilmente.
Sono un grande fan della tecnica lavagna.
Ho utilizzato la tecnica tradizionale con cartoncino nero ed embossatura a caldo con inchiostro bianco. Successivamente sporco sempre con macchie di inchiostro bianco il cartoncino.

The sentiment and coffee cup image are on a separate panel which makes it easier to design.

I'm a big fan of the chalkboard technique.

I'm using the traditional technique with black cardstock and white heat embossing.  I always follow up with smearing white ink on the panel.

Questo progetto è per una cara amica, che compie gli anni il 23 dicembre ma tendiamo a festeggiarla dopo le vacanze. Io ci metterò una coffe card come regalo. Il progetto a tema inverno è perfetto!

This is going to a dear friend, who has a December 23rd birthday but we tend to celebrate it after the holidays.  I will put a coffee shop gift card in it.  The winter theme project is perfect!

Oggi vi mostro come realizzare una card semplice ma d'effetto

Vi mostrerò come utilizzate in particolar modo questo stencil.

 Welcome back all !!!
Today I show you how to make a simple but effective card
I will show you how to use especially stencil.

Il materiale di cui avremo disogno è:

*Cartoncino Bianco Spesso

*Stencil Nuvole

 *spatola di legno

*Gesso acrilico

 (io utilizzo del gesso fatto in casa da me,ma va bene qualsiasi tipo e marca)

*Carta per scrapbooking

*mezzeperle
*Glitter Oro

The material we will need is:
* Card White Often
Stencil * Clouds * wooden spatula
* Acrylic Gesso (I use chalk homemade by me, but okay any type and brand)
* Paper for scrapbooking
* mezzeperle
* Glitter Gold

Preparo in un vasetto di vetro una piccola quantità di gesso acrilico
 Prepare in a glass jar a small amount of acrylic plaster

Preparo la base della mia card con un cartoncino a grammatura alta.

Fisso lo stencil tenendolo semplicemente con la mano
 I prepare the base of my card with a card in high grammage.
Fixed simply by holding the stencil with hand

Applico il gesso con una spatola di legno
I apply the plaster whit a wooden stick

 Il risultato una volta tolto lo stencil
The result after removing the stencil

Prima che il gesso si asciughi applico dei glitter oro su tutta la superficie della card.
Picchietto il retro per togliere l'eccesso.
Before the plaster dries apply glitter of the gold on the whole surface of de card
I remove the excess of glitter

Una volta che il gesso è asciutto ed i glitter sono fissati decoro la card con un semplice nastro ed una timbrata.
ET VOILA'...
Once the plaster is dry and glitter are fixed decorate the card with a simple tape and a stamped.
ET VOILA'...

How to....Foglie di washi tape - Washi Tape Leaves

Io adoro lavorare con i washi tape e così ho pensato che sarebbe stato divertente mostrarvi come utilizzo i washi con le mie fustelle preferite.

 

Hello there!  Melissa Phillips here with my first tutorial joining the team at Storie die Timbri.  I love creating with washi tape and thought it would be fun to show you how I combine washi tape with my favorite dies.

 

Visto che qui negli Stati Uniti è autunno ho realizzato una card invernale per voi tagliando alcune foglie con l'aggiunta dei washi.

 

And, since it's autumn here in the United States, I whipped up a fall card for you complete with washi tape die cut leaves.

Here's a quick tutorial for you:

 

Fase 1: Raccogliete i vostri rotoli di nastro washi preferiti, scegliendo colori e modelli che si abbinino a vicenda. Incollateli orizzontalmente sopra ad un cartoncino color crema. Ricordate che il nastro washi è semi trasparente, quindi se si utilizza un cartoncino colorato o con un disegno si vedrà sotto.

 

Step 1:  Gather your favorite rolls of washi tape, choosing colors and patterns that will compliment each other.  Adhere each horizontally across a block of cream cardstock.  Remember that washi tape is translucent, so if you use a block of cardstock with a design on it, this design will show from under the washi tape.

Fase 2: Scegliete le fustelle che volete usare, appoggiatele sopra al cartoncino e tagliate con la Big Shot. E guardate la magia :-).

 

 Step 2:  Select your chosen dies, and run your dies and cardstock block layered with washi tape strips through your die cut machine.  And, then watch the magic happen :).

 

Passo 3: Adesso avete delle originali foglie patchwork ma con i resti di nastro washi avanzati qua e là potete fare lo stesso con l'utilizzo di fustelle di altre forme, cuori, stelle, fiori, ecc

Step 3:  You are left with fun patchwork leaves, with snippets of washi tape used here and there.  Consider using hearts, stars, flowers, etc.
